Main Ingredients:-
White Bread - 8 pieces
Chopped Onion - 2 nos
Chopped Green Chilli - 2 nos
Curry Leaves - 8-10 nos
Black Mustard - 1 teaspoon
Tomato - 1 nos
Rock Salt - as per taste
Vegetable Oil - 2 tablespoon
Serves - 3-4
Methods:-
1) Cut the bread slices into small pieces.
2) In a large pan or kadai, heat the oil over medium heat.
3) For tempering, add the black mustard seeds and let them splutter.
4) Add the cumin seeds and curry leaves, saute for a few secinds.
5) Add the finely chopped onions and green chilies.
6) Saute until the onions become translucent.
7) Add the chopped tomatoes and cook until they become soft and mushy.
8) Add the bread cubes to the pan and mix well to coat them with the spices.
9) Cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the bread is slightly toasted and absorbs the flavors.
10) Add salt as per taste and mix well.
11) Slowly pour water so that breads become soft and mushy and enjoy.
